When Root Canal Treatment is Needed:
- Sharp tooth pain, especially at night or when biting
- Darkening of a tooth — a sign of nerve death
- Previous unsuccessful treatment — tooth is painful or inflamed again
- Prolonged sensitivity to hot or cold that doesn’t go away

Why a Microscope is Essential
Without a microscope, the dentist is practically working blind. Root canals are a system of microscopic pathways inside the tooth. They are curved, branched, and often have extra canals invisible to the naked eye.
With a microscope:

Root Canal Treatment under the Microscope
All procedures are performed under multiple magnification.
What we do:
- Locate all canals (including hidden and extra)
- Remove affected pulp or old materials
- Mechanically shape canals with specialized instruments
- Flush with disinfecting solutions to eliminate bacteria
- Fill canals tightly — to the root apex
Microscope allows us to:
- See canal openings invisible without magnification
- Treat curved and narrow sections
- Monitor every step
- Avoid perforations (accidental root wall punctures)
Treatment is painless — under high-quality anesthesia.

Retreatment (if necessary)
Remove old fillings, treat complex canals, and redo treatment without extracting the tooth.

Tooth Restoration
If a tooth was previously treated but inflammation returned or treatment was poor — we retreat.
What we do:
- Remove old filling materials from canals
- Treat missed or poorly treated canals
- Correct perforations of the root
- Eliminate inflammation
- Refill canals properly and hermetically
Retreatment is more challenging than initial treatment, but we take on such cases and often save teeth others recommend removing.
